Our History
Bishop Manufacturing was founded in 1909 in Bishop Street, Digbeth, Birmingham as a Tool making company.
In 1947 we moved to a purpose built industrial unit in Milk Street, Digbeth where we still remain.
In 1969 Peter Wake started work at Bishop Manufacturing as a tool making apprentice and worked his way up to manager and bought the company in 2000 rebranding as Bishop Engineering Ltd with his two sons working with him. The company has gone from strength to strength and in 2023 Ben Wake took over the company.
